‘Dobrudjanski Ruchenik’ – This dance is particular to just one place in the World - the Dobrudja region in the North East of Bulgaria. Boys and men only perform it. Dobrudja is a region full of wheat-fields and because the view has the colour yellow everywhere Bulgarians calls it ‘Golden Dobrudja’ or ‘The Granary of Bulgaria’. The dance represents the farmer sowing the fields.
